A very warm welcome to the Fairlie Primary School website

Our whakataukī: Mā te huruhuru ka rere te manu - Adorn the bird with feathers and it will fly.
We believe that when children are supported and equipped with the right tools, they will flourish.

For over 145 years, Fairlie Primary School has provided rich, engaging learning for Year 1–6 tamariki. Guided by our vision, Supporting the Journey, Discovering the Potential, we offer a rich, localised curriculum. From strong literacy and numeracy to outdoor education, sports, the arts, and leadership development, we nurture confident, capable, and well-rounded learners.

Located in the heart of the Mackenzie District, we make the most of our incredible backyard, from bush and farmland to ski fields and Aoraki/Mount Cook, to bring learning to life.

Supported by a passionate team of staff, a proactive Board, and a strong community, we embody our core values: Confident, Caring, Resilient, and Respectful.
